Cookie Notice

TypingWhiz uses a minimal, privacy-respecting cookie configuration.

The session cookie

When you sign in, we set one cookie named tw_session. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and Secure in production. It contains an opaque session token used to identify your session. It does not contain your email, name, or password. It expires after seven days or when you sign out.

Local storage

Theme preference and anonymous typing history are stored in your browser's local storage. These never reach our servers unless you explicitly import them into an account. You can clear them at any time from Account Settings.

No tracking cookies

TypingWhiz does not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics that identify you personally.
