Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • Account data (optional): email, display name, mobile number if you provide it, and a hashed password.
  • Practice history: aggregate attempt results such as WPM, accuracy, and duration. We do not store the raw stream of keystrokes you type.
  • Anonymous data: when you practice without an account, we store your history in your browser's local storage. It does not reach our servers unless you register and explicitly import it.

How we use it

Account data is used only to sign you in, save your progress, and (if you opt in) show your display name on the leaderboard. Anonymous local data is used only on your device. We do not sell data or share it with advertisers.

Cookies

When you sign in, we set one HttpOnly session cookie. It contains an opaque session token, expires after seven days, and is not readable by JavaScript. Theme preference is stored in local storage, not in a cookie. See our Cookie Notice.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings. Deletion anonymizes your account record. Exercise caution: this cannot be undone. To request a full data export before deletion, contact us.
